Do you have a dispute but you don’t have the time or money to file a lawsuit? Have you considered early neutral evaluation? This process is confidential like mediation, but it is more informal and less expensive. After signing your initial agreement to ENE the parties can submit the issues that are occurring between the parties and receive a neutral and impartial evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the case. The outcome is non-binding and can give you an analysis of your case without all of the expenses associated with filing a lawsuit. The procedure can be written or oral depending upon the needs of the parties. The parties should obtain legal advice before embarking on an early neutral evaluation; however, they do not need to be strictly represented during the procedure.
Fees for an ENE are set as follows: $100.00 an hour preparation fee with an initial deposit of (3) three hours upon signing of the initial ENE agreement. The additional ENE hours will be billed on an hourly rate of $80.00 an hour to be split among the parties or as determined by the initial ENE agreement.
To book an ENE follow this link to our CALENDAR page or contact us at ENE@americannimediators.org. You should receive a confirmation e-mail of your appointment and a reminder e-mail 24 hours prior to your booking. Please be aware that any initial deposit paid is subject to any time expended upon the case.
